Parking at a comfort pitch is free, and there is enough space to park one car at your pitch. There is also a car park available at the campsite. The comfort pitches are spacious enough for different types of motorhomes and caravans.
Every pitch with electricity has a standard connection of 12 amps.
Under the awning, only a grass-permeable groundsheet or a perforated rubber mat is allowed. If you leave the campsite for one night or longer, we kindly ask you to roll up the mat up to the awning. This helps keep the grass in good condition for the guests who arrive after you.
Yes, at Camping De Weerd you can use free WiFi.
For regular internet use, checking emails and sending messages, the connection is usually fine. We cannot guarantee a stable connection for live TV, video calls or streaming films and series.
Yes, Camping De Weerd has washing machines and dryers. You can use them with coins, which are available at reception.
The costs are €4 per wash and €2.50 for drying. Please note that detergent is not provided, so make sure to bring your own.
Camping De Weerd does not have an official bicycle rental service. However, we do have a few bicycles that you can borrow for a short time, for example for a quick errand or a ride to the supermarket. Feel free to ask about the possibilities during your stay.
No, Camping De Weerd does not have a swimming pool. However, there are several swimming pools and natural swimming spots in the surrounding area where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

At around 3 minutes’ walking distance, you will find TAURUS, where you can enjoy various food and drink options. Velden and Venlo are also close by. Velden is about 5 minutes away by bike, and Venlo can be reached in around 15 minutes. There you will find plenty of restaurants, terraces and other places to eat.
No, unfortunately Camping De Weerd does not offer a fresh bread service. In Velden, about 5 minutes away by bike, you will find a bakery and supermarket where you can buy fresh rolls, croissants and other breakfast items. Trefcenter is also nearby, around 1.5 kilometres away, with a wide range of supermarkets and shops.
There is plenty to do near Camping De Weerd, whether you are looking for a day out or an active afternoon. You can visit Kasteeltuinen Arcen, go swimming at Strandbad Maasbree or enjoy a beautiful cycling or walking route through the Maasduinen. There are also several villages and towns nearby with shops, terraces and other facilities.

The centre of Velden is close to Camping De Weerd. By car, you can get there in about 3 minutes, by bike in around 7 minutes and on foot in approximately 20 minutes.
The centre of Venlo is also easy to reach. By bike, it takes around 12 minutes, by car about 10 minutes and on foot approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
Yes, from Camping De Weerd you can start cycling or walking straight away. The campsite is located in a green area along the river Meuse and close to De Maasduinen nature reserve, where you will find beautiful routes through forests, heathland and along the water.
The well-known Pieterpad trail also runs nearby, making the campsite a great base for walkers who want to complete a stage or discover part of the route.
In the surrounding area, you will also find various cycling junctions and routes towards Velden, Venlo and Arcen.
Barbecuing is allowed, as long as the barbecue is at least 30 centimetres above the ground. We do ask you to always keep a bucket of sand or water nearby.
Open fires and fire baskets are not allowed. During very warm weather above 30 degrees, extra caution is important.
Everyone staying at Camping De Weerd does so at their own risk. The campsite and management cannot be held liable for damage caused by theft, power outages, natural events, damage to property or personal injury. This also applies to other situations in which damage occurs during your stay.
Dogs are very welcome at Camping De Weerd. A maximum of one dog is allowed per pitch. The cost is €2.00 per night.
If you would like to bring more than one dog, please contact us in advance so we can discuss the possibilities.
Dogs must always be kept on a lead and must not be listed as prohibited or classified as fighting dogs.
Yes, it is possible to reserve camping pitches next to each other. When booking, you can indicate this via the map, but you are also welcome to contact us. We will be happy to check the possibilities with you.
